A Living Tome for Tabletop Campaigns

Where every campaign
becomes a chronicle.

DustyVellum is a campaign management tool built around persistent asymmetric knowledge — each player sees only what their Game Master has revealed to them.

What's Inside

Built for the long game.

Reveal at your pace

Hide a paragraph, an NPC's true name, an entire location — until the moment is right. Players never receive content they shouldn't see. No placeholders, no whitespace gaps, no leaks.

A living chronicle

The game log captures every table-relevant moment — names learned, secrets uncovered, ground gained. Each player's record reflects only what their character witnessed.

Sheets that survive change

Character sheets built on stable identifiers that outlast schema changes. Rename, restructure, migrate between systems — nothing is lost, everything is auditable.

The Method

From the first session onward.

  1. I

    Open a new tome

Create a game, pick a system, and invite your table with a single link. Your players land in their own view of the world — populated with only what you've chosen to share.

  2. II

Write in the open, reveal in private

Draft your full world in the wiki — NPC histories, dungeon contents, the names of the gods. Mark blocks, pages, or whole entries as GM-only. They simply do not exist in player views until you reveal them.

  3. III

    Let the chronicle keep itself

Reveals, rolls, and reveals-during-rolls land in the game log automatically. Searchable in seconds. A campaign that ran four years ago is still browsable like it ended yesterday.

The first page is blank.

Open the tome and start writing.
